Terms and conditions

1. General Conditions.

 

Luces de Catedral does not offer a permanent reception service; therefore, the client must indicate their arrival time at the apartments to schedule check-in, through booking@lucesdecatedral.com or by calling 0034965168943.

Once the reservation has been received, Luces de Catedral will send a confirmation email indicating all the information necessary to access the apartments. Luces de Catedral is not responsible for errors in the email provided in the reservations, which prevent direct communication with the holder of the reservation.

Pets are not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed within all the facilities of Luces de Catedral, including stairs, main entrance, balconies. If tobacco consumption is detected within the facilities, Luces de Catedral may, after notifying the guest, charge a penalty for extra cleaning.

Any modification, cancellation or action related to the reservation must be managed through the sales channel through which it was made.

Luces de Catedral will strictly comply with the reservation modification and cancellation policies established in the sales channels.

All guests over eighteen (18) years of age must register at check-in, for which guests must present their identity document or complete the Travelers’ Report provided by Luces de Catedral electronically or physically.

The maximum capacity of the apartments may not be exceeded under any circumstances. In the event that the client exceeds said capacity, Luces de Catedral will charge a penalty for each unregistered person.

Access by car to the Old Town of Alicante is prohibited; it is recommended to park in the nearby public parking lots. In case of accessing the Old Town, the guest must provide the vehicle data for processing the incident before the Alicante City Council. Any non-compliance in this regard is the exclusive responsibility of the guest; therefore, Luces de Catedral will not respond to any claim arising from administrative sanctioning procedures initiated against the guest.

Luces de Catedral is not responsible for objects left inside the apartments. Any object found inside the apartments after the guests leave will be kept for a period of fifteen (15) days.

2. Extra beds and cots.

 

Luces de Catedral offers studios for double, triple, quadruple and quintuple occupancy; therefore, the beds will be prepared according to the information collected in each reservation. If the client requires more beds than those reserved at check-in, the difference resulting from accommodating all guests must be paid, according to the available occupancy.

A cot is available for children up to 2 years of age at no additional cost (upon request and subject to availability).

3. Check-in and check-out time.

 

Check-in will take place from 14:00 hrs. (2:00 p.m.). In case of arrival outside of business hours, Luces de Catedral will inform the guest of the instructions to access their accommodation.

Check-out is every day until 12:00 hrs. (12:00 p.m.). Late check-out is not permitted.

4. Payment Method.

 

Payment for the total reservation will be made in accordance with the cancellation policy published on each booking channel, and the charge may be made at any time from the time of booking confirmation. Credit card details are used as a guarantee.

Taxes and additional charges: VAT is included in the price. Municipal tax not applicable. Service charge not applicable.

Credit card details will be requested as a guarantee against damage to the facilities. If damage attributable to guests is confirmed, the card will be charged, after prior notification by email, with details of invoices for repairs and/or replacements.

5. Cancellation conditions.

 

If you cancel up to 7 days before your arrival date, there will be no charge. If you cancel late or do not show up, 100% of the first night of the reservation will be charged.

 

6. Additional services.

 

Additional services will be provided and provided under the responsibility of Luces de Catedral. Payment for these services will be made in accordance with the general terms and conditions duly published on the reservation channels or those published by Luces de Catedral for specific offers, by credit/debit card or cash.

 

7. Airport Transfer Service.

 

The luxury private transfer service will be offered to and from Alicante-Elche Airport. The guest must book the service at least 12 hours in advance, indicating flight details, number of people, type of luggage and any other special situation. Available 24 hours a day, every day. The regular rate is €27-54 depending on the type of service requested. Payment will be made directly to the private driver in cash. The general conditions of the service are the responsibility of the partner company; therefore, our responsibility is limited to processing the reservation and coordinating the transfer service to and from Alicante-Elche Airport.

 

8. Welcome Service.

 

To enjoy this service, please contact us via email at booking@lucesdecatedral.com. The service will be charged according to the cancellation policies duly published by Luces de Catedral, via credit/debit card.

 

9. Breakfast Service.

 

To enjoy this service, please request it via email to booking@lucesdecatedral.com, indicating the number of guests and number of days you want the service. The fee will be charged according to the cancellation policies duly published by Luces de Catedral, via credit/debit card.

 

10. Cleaning and Laundry Service.

 

Daily general cleaning service is included in the rate and will be carried out from 10:00 to 12:00 hours, according to the rules indicated in the apartment. If you require bed linen, towels or special cleaning, please inform management at booking@lucesdecatedral.com or at 0034965168943.

If you require express laundry service, please contact us via booking@lucesdecatedral.com or call 0034965168943. Please leave the clothes in the laundry bags that you will find in the apartment and confirm the service for collection and delivery according to the scheduled time.

Delivery time: 24 hours from the time of collection of the clothing, except for reasons not attributable to Luces de Catedral.

Payment for the services will be made upon receipt of the order and in cash.

 

11. Parking.

 

Luces de Catedral will inform customers about public car parks close to its facilities, using the information published by the car park management companies; therefore, any modification will be the exclusive responsibility of said companies. If you use the Plaza San Cristóbal car park, please present your ticket at reception to have it stamped and enjoy a discount on the daily rate.
